Why MOIA and me would make a goooood match
MY PERSONAL UX JOURNEY STARTED SOMEDAY IN 2016
While working as a screen designer at hafenkrone agency in Hamburg, I mainly sat in front of a computer, delivering landing pages for my art director, the manager and the client of course.
At Libri (my first UX project as a freelancer), I could develop new skills besides my ability to just push pixels. My role was set at the intersection between product ownership, development and different compartments of the Libri company itself, everything »under surveillance« of a scrum master (who did a great job, hi Frank!).
FIRST STEPS IN »REAL« UX
THE HONORABLE ASSIGNMENT
Building a user-centered inventory management for books (and other media)
THE FIRST WIREFRAMES, I BUILT WITH BALSAMIQ (AND PEN & PAPER FROM TIME TO TIME)
IN THE END, WE HAD DESIGNED AND DEVELOPED A RELIABLE MVP
Next chapter: Digging into Material Design
WHEN BEHANCE AND DRIBBBLE WHERE FULL OF THOSE CASES
Four years, after Google launched its Material Design System, I was asked to develop a neat user interface based on it. The task was, to design a monitoring app that could control an air quality device for inside rooms. We started to develop a web-based application, that later should be translated into a native version for android and apple.
After watching this whole design trend of finely shapped monitoring apps and beautiful information design (Oberhäuser killed it!), I was glad to contribute on that topic too.
